As autumn arrives it starts to get cold

The leaves are slowly turning gold

The nights get dark

So away fly the larks

Soon the stems will be bald

In the morning we go for a walk

We don't catch any bird squawks

The leaves are red, orange and yellow

We can hear the wind bellow

In the sky I can see a hawk

Leaves dance wildly in the grass

As I watch from behind the glass

A squirrel scurries up a tree

And I yell out in glee

It's time for me to head to class
