Wind moves through the leaves, swaying side to side.
Flying everywhere carried by the breeze.
Piles of leaves gather on the street so wide.
Everywhere I see just colourful leaves.
Gracefully landing on my outstretched hand.
Rough, jagged edges piercing my fingers.
The taste of rain touches my tongue as I stand.
Move forward through the field do not linger.
Orange, green and red fill the autumn scene.
Brilliantly lighting up the path ahead.
Nothing like my bare eyes have ever seen.
Taking my breath away with every tred.
As the sun sets, winter rises once again.
And over again the cycle begins.
