The skies flicker in the night,

as the trees sway from left to right.

Tossing leaves gently around

falling delicately on the ground.

streams of water whistle stories

filled with bundles of anxious worries,

As resting florets begin to wither

shaping away into decay and bitter.

Now harvest has arrived,

the pumpkins have survived.

Apples turn into rot,

farmers cook them in pots.

Orchards leave mystic trails,

it is embarked on the rails.

Critter tracks are finally uncovered,

new creatures are discovered.

As the fauna find a place to hide

to snooze while months of shivers reside,

autumn says goodbye.
