Awake, Arise, Act

Weather as predicted today,

is never what we planned!

Today was supposed to be hot, but 

we went out and realised it's cold, windy and what not.

Scorching heat with untimely rain,

isn't this man's own disdain?

The future is bleak, a nightmarish dream,

with leering vultures hunting along the dried streams.

Gone are the trees, erasing the pristine verdant valleys,

extinct and endangered are the animals, based on tallies.

Earth was a marvellous creation, under God's umbrella,

but today whole galaxy is ruled by human fellas.

If not acted upon we should face the debacle,

this further will only add to the live chronicle.

Awake, arise and act,

forseeing the harsh impact.
