The rays of the sun were so warm, so comforting,

The fine grains of sand so small, so wonderful,

The waves of crystal-clear water reflecting shards of sunlight,

Marine life so full of animals ranging from the shallows to the deep,

This is my home, my Bakers Beach,

The cool sea breeze,

The old slanting cliff walls,

The scent of the living seas,

One side so calm, so elegant,

The other so rough, so boisterous,

Birds so joyful their laughter sometimes louder than the waves,

Wallabies so curious they explore sand June’s miles high,

Bakers Beach a world of its own,

Bakers Beach feels like home.
