The ones we destroy
The ones that hold homes for animals
Bampi means Forest
Taste of ash after fires erupt on the land
The forest burned and scorched when the fires come to an end
The fires may quieten, but burns and ashes rarely heal

The old forests are lush and green
Filled with laughter from kookaburras and chirrping birds
These are the happy times in the woods
Bampi means forest
Forest destruction has been spreading as rapidly as wildfires in summer droughts
Lost and never been found
Ash covers the blank dirt ground
Bampi means forest
But soon it will mean nothing,
There will be nothing
The earth will be
Nothing...
