Banksia anatona

Vibrant green colours, dreadful razor spikes.
As the sun gazed upon this dry, barren plant.
It seems to not be found anywhere else, as if all of them vanquished.
Upon this parched, desolate land, as if there was any hope for this spectacular plant.
I feel the gentle breeze touch my face, the wind whistles, a big blow, a gale, the leaves sway uncontrollably.
A waft of fragrance, with a similar scent from a Persoonia, emerged from the plant.
Now as I think of this plant, I wonder if anyone cared for this unchaperoned cactus.
I wonder what the world would be like without these precious plants?
The world would perish.
The world would probably be filled with pure darkness
There would be no animals, no habitats.
Without plants, our earth is empty.
As I take a deep breath in, I let myself have a moment of serenity.
I peer over at the plant, it just sits there, peacefully.
Tranquillity fills the air, the plants sway smoothly.
The radiant beams of sunlight shine upon my face
This moment is truly bliss.
