Beach of Calmness

The air tastes salty,

Wisps of seawater blow into my face from a slight breeze,

Warm sand sprinkles through my feet,

The sun on my face warms me,

Waves roll methodically somewhere ahead as my eyes flutter closed,

Time seems to slow as my brain starts to drift off,

Birds tweet as they soar over the land,

Kids laugh, splashing in the water,

The tranquil landscape descends into silence as the sun sets,

My eyes slowly open as the sun begins to set,

Lighting up the sky in brilliant oranges,

Slowly changing to shades of pink and purple as the world falls to night,

Stars dot the sky,

Forming brilliant constellations, creating a truly breathtaking scene,

A day full of nature,

Brain refreshed.
