The sea breaths in

Sucking in its fluid stomach

Salty kisses on the shore

Water dips and dives dodging rocks

In its journey away from the coast

The waves start anew

Same water

New perspective

The sea breathes out

Mirror sea morphs into a churning beast

Liquid tendrils reach and extend

Gathering velocity

Creatures scuttle and hurry

And those left behind fall to the icy wrath

As waves hit the shore

The sound of a thousand whispers rings through the cove

And as the sea breathes in again

Wind, waves and seagulls sing as one

A beach orchestra

For all to hear
