Brandon Re
Bear
Poem
That familiar bear.
It’s smile stretched for a mile,
loving and caring.
Two glossy empty holes
Follow my every move.

A black cap delicately placed on it’s head,
flourished with a golden ribbon.
The ribbon was like
a priceless string of shiny leather,
lighting up it’s features.

The soft, squishy and stuffed
bear’s skin,
as smooth as silk.
I stared,
As memories came flooding back
