look at what we're doing, look at the green, burnt-out cut down

the blackest you’ve seen. people stand by, sighing, not many trying, to help those poor creatures, and to all those preachers

“the world needs you!” this is our earth's final straw, if we don’t do something our earth will become raw. think of those animals that have lost their homes, because of us everyone groans, "what will we do without our homes?" fiery dawn across the grey sky, black smoking halo, each species cry. we cut down their branches,

chop them in half, put them through a mulcher, and make a draft.

deep in the forest, a struggle to survive, insect and tree, both wanting to thrive. fire in the forests, pavement on our land, shrivelled up and burnt, the cure’s in your hand. we need to start,

to start something now, even though we don’t know how! we need to keep our earth alive, don’t kill it now. no one is helping, no one at all, we’re just watching, waiting for them all to fall. purity is gone, the beauty was stolen, it's our fault the trees keep falling.
