Big Bad Wolf (lonely version)

In a forest deep, where shadows dance, Lives a big bad wolf, in solitude's trance. With fur as dark as the moonless night, He prowls through the trees, longing for light.
A creature feared, misunderstood, Yet his heart aches for a friend, if he could. Isolation his curse, a gnawing ache, As he roams through the woods, for connection's sake.
His growl is thunder, his gaze intense, But within him stirs a longing immense. For a tender touch, a kindred soul, To heal his heart, to make him whole.
The moon hangs high, casting its glow, On the lonely wolf with eyes of woe. He howls his song, a melancholy tune, A plea to the stars, a wish for the moon.
In dreams he sees a world anew, Where hearts unite, where friendships grew. Yet fear keeps them distant, the tales of old, A narrative unjust, a story untold.
Oh, big bad wolf, misunderstood, Your yearning heart, your solitude. May you find solace beneath the moon, A friend to chase away your gloom.
For in your depths, beyond the guise, Lies a spirit gentle, a heart that cries. May you someday find the one who'll see, The lonely wolf longing to be free.
