Bloodwood tree

Breaking through its thick rough bark
Dark red sap oozes out like blood
Healing the aboriginals burns and sores
Club shaped flower buds sitting on the ruts
Rain starts to fall from the clouds
Hitting the ground like symbols
Butterflies sprint to find shelter
Leaves swirling in the wind
Dropping heavy branches
Old bloodwood stands 45 metres tall
Trying to survive
