Blue Rabbit

The European rabbit has finely stitched eyes.
A blue and white domestic variety
It lives in a warren of jumpers and t-shirts
And is as soft as a cloud.
Long ears spanning 10CM long
Twitching his ears with every step I take
With a small hat that flops when he runs
We bond well as we are mutually aged
Secretly taking carrots when no-one is around
A rabbit, not a rodent
Nevertheless, he watches over me, even when he can't hear me.
