just me and the velvety, golden sand

me and the tossing waves

I pick up the precious, alluring shells

I thrive my hands in the waves of water

I see the scarlet crabs

the minute fish, the white gulls

some free in the sea

some betwixt the rocks

some soar high in the sky

my ordinary toes in the warm sand

the sun that shines brightly on my dainty skin

the blue sky that mirrors the marine

in summers I visit and explore

in winters I sight and examine

I stroll by the tranquil shore, cherishing

this lively moment

this is the dream

this is the life

this is where I

belong
