In the depths of the ocean,

The big blue sea,

Lives a blue whale,

In a place where it roams free.

The creature's size is great,

Its beauty even greater,

But this magnificent mammal,

Is forced to face a terrible fate.

Shining sapphire skin,

Glistening golden like the sun,

Lies hidden, lost, beneath the surface,

There is nowhere to run.

Innocent, harmless, graceful,

Yet, day by day, danger looms.

Oh, that poor blue whale,

Why did you shoot that harpoon?

Hunters with their shiny weapons

Controlled by greed and cruelty,

Frantically placing their attacks,

Blue whales sinking into history.
