Bobby Koala walked through the beautiful scenery

Stumbling across a juicy eucalyptus leaf

Eating it in a jiffy

While stepping on something very squishy

Climbing up his favourite tree

Then saying, “Hi!” to Ben the Bee

Oh it was a beautiful day

In every single way

Like it was made only to be great

Then from the corner of his eye

He spotted something red and blazing

Engulfing everything, like a red-hot tsunami

He had to run, as fast as he could

Through all the burning wood

He ran and ran until he could not

All the trees were left to rot

Staring into his burnt-out home

There was nowhere left for him to roam

Was mother nature meant to be pushed around?

Leaving treasured remains on the blackened ground.
