Bongo Drums

Echoing through the Savanna,
Vibrating on my palms,
Across the whole of Africa,
Mightier than any snake charms.

Stretched lizard skin apex,
A metal ring like a crown,
Glistening like gold,
Keeping the skin down.

Smooth brown wood,
Rounded to perfection,
Nothing could go wrong,
Like Donald Trump’s election!
