Book of Memories

I shook it around
And the dust spiralled down.
I turned the page
And I was amazed.
Over 50 years old,
But showing no creases or folds.
The pages have turned yellow,
and the writing is all mellow
Suddenly, memories came flowing out in the form of tears.
I have her book but I don’t have her
I want her back
I need her back,
but her book is all I have
