Book Of My Life

Started from a dark corner,
Rose through the ashes,
To be a better one.
I have struggled in the past,
But I have won.

I have found the light, finally and forever,
Always looking forward,
Never going back,
Forever, and always advancing.

The memories left behind,
Will never be forgotten,
Will fade away
Yet life itself,
I will always remember
I will continue a new,
Pure and true.

I’ve finally seen the light,
It feels comforting, like a cloud,
In the light, they surround,
With the sound of nature,
So peaceful to be around,
I will remain in the sky.
