Books

They help us learn
so that the degrees we earn
are correct.
We may never go to college
unless we have the knowledge
of books.
Without them, we are
lonely, feeling like the only ones
but, in actual fact
if we don't react, we won't stay intact
we'll get slowly cracked
and the words can't distract
us from the struggles of life.
We need freedom from strife.
We need books.
