As I scroll through the pages.
I think of all the character's ages.
It shows a movie in your head.
As you lie in your bed.

Beautiful imagination with all the wonderful things to explore.
But not so much when reading about a civil war.
You dream of meeting someone in a book,
It will not come true but it is good to look.

For a book you love,
It can be as beautiful as a dove.
With action, romance and mysterious stories,
All equal and as good as any story.

Our favourites are so hard to let go of,
They will always be in our heart.
As we dream of them night and day,
In my favourite books there is no best part.

It is relaxing in many ways,
I can sit and relax all day.
We can read books till there is no day,
That’s why I love books.
