Deceitful embers dance, fluttering and flouncing, as they bounce from one to the next,

Screaming amber; in the solemn light of twilight till’ its singed skin unites with the darkness

It shrieks in agony, feeling thoroughly vexed,

Why must its leaves fall whilst the dead ones still narc?

They join one another as they make their descent,

Ripped from their one value, their beautiful bark,

They lay and they cry, wondering when these bad ones will repent,

As their clear blood leaves a lasting mark,

Cowards stand in their stead, destroying what once was living for the dead.
