Bush Walk

Squelch…snap…squelch!

It’s early in the morning,

you can’t really see.

If you look closely,

you might even see a bee.

Breath in, breath out…breath in, breath out.

Be aware of the creatures about!

The birds are singing, the trees are dancing.

I’m just looking around and prancing.

The scary spider is tinkering in his web,

whilst he’s eating the dead.

It’s not as dark now and you can see,

the ants carrying dew from the leaves.

The ants are so busy building their homes

Whilst they do not know the anteater is coming.

Its spiky quills, long tongue and a soft belly.
