Bushfire

Crackles in the distance, 
Fire communicating with earth, 
I hear sirens, in the distance 
Striving to put out the annihilating flames, 
Fire fighters challenged to put out the burning fire 
The fire like a majestic dragon breathing life out of every town and village, 
Sparkling blue water squirting out of the hose, 

All but one 
The devastating fire is scaring people out of their homes 
Will it ever stop? 

I look up and see, 
Ash falling from the top of the tree, 
Trees burnt down and lives lost, 
Homes destroyed and business absent, 
Families complaining that their homes are gone 
People are saying that now that the struggle has passed the earth is a disaster.
