Bushfires

Birds chirping happily on the green trees
As they flit from branch to branch
They are like children dancing though a leafy playground
The sweet smell of nectar wafts through the air
Buzzing bees being busy
As they glide to their beehive hanging from the musty smelling bark
The hot breeze getting hotter
Then orange flames wrapped around the land
A hungry creature swallowing the land
Engulfing everything
Leaves and branches are cracking and crunching
As the once proud trees collapse
There is only silence
until
Sirens wailing in the distance
And roaring from the sky dropping water from above
