By The River

Pompom golden wattles,
Dancing in harmony with the silky green trees.
The adventuring sun fighting through the clouds,
While salt flows through the air.
Waves constantly hug the soft bay,
As bright sand seeps through your toes.
Birds humming in tune with nature,
Warm sweet pollen running through your nose.
Crabby leaves as sharp as swords,
Poking anyone who dares to challenge them.
Good looking delicate petals cheering on the
Fragile cobwebs that sway with the breeze.
The dirt is freshly washed by a thunderstorm,
I sit by the river foreshore.
