Cancerous Moon

Reflection, deeper hue
Sun, brighter than day herself
Clouds painted midnight blue
Upbringing of contaminated flowers
Breathing stars of burning flesh
A dying moon, ruler of emotion
was burned by Sun
Now lay petals, polluted buds
Promising future, dainty past
Upbringing our cancerous moon
She floats now in a deeper hue
