Cat toy

My first day brought a toy
A small cat
With pink ears and feet
A white body, small black eyes
And a button nose
Such a joy it brought
I wonder if it ever thought
Why it was with me
My twin sister had one too
One with a ginger face
And white chest
I wonder if they ever played
While the sun was done
Had a run around, while we were at rest
The little kittens had friends
The bears and bunnies on the bed
The small dogs and turtles
I hope they were kind to them while they were around
The little kitten brought joy to everyone
Including the dog's mouth
