Cement Creek

Red wood forest.
Dark and shadowing,
Oxygen arising,
Unique,
Giving us life,
Protection,
Standing in a forest,
Feeling so free,
But so small,
Caving me in,
Feeling tense,
Narrow paths lead me,
Rivers extend by trees, back out to freedom
What would it be like without them?
