Christmas

I felt the snow, slowly falling from the grey sky,
I heard the enchanted music, filling my heart with joy,
I could see the children, happily dancing in the deep snow,
And that’s when I realised it was that time of the year: christmas.
In each houses, a christmas tree;
Each time waiting, for Santa to come.
The shining streets, full of happiness,
Reminded me it was that time of the year: christmas.
I remembered singing in the crowded streets,
I remembered not sleeping at christmas eve,
I remembered waking up at the view of thousands of presents,
I remembered when it was that time of the year: christmas.
But christmas doesn’t exist,
Christmas is just a myth,
Making people believe,
In Santa Claus and gnomes.
