Confident to Sway

As I walk through the bright paddock, it reminds me of a tennis ball, wet from being left in the rain.
As I walk across it, the wet grass brushes past my ankles, making my black leggings wet.
I look at the trees and the dark green moss on them and it makes me feel amazing.
The smell of rain and the sparkling creek are so nice, and the wet grass brushing past my ankles.
Every step I take is astounding, it makes me feel like I could do anything.
I wonder if the grass and trees have always looked like this,
I ask, “Have you always looked like this?”
The tall swaying gum trees answer back, “Each time we lose a leaf, we change, but it makes us even more confident to keep swaying.”
As I walk through the bright paddock, it reminds me of a tennis ball, wet from being left in the rain.
