When I walk through the bushes I come across a creek.

I hear heavy wind, birds chirping and singing to each other.

I see the cold, clear water and I see the little insects and animals.

The water is as fresh and as clear as spring water.

When I walk closer, I feel the grass tickle my feet.

When I put one foot in the water, it’s as cold as ice

And when I put the other foot in, it’s the same.

“Slish swalsh” I feel the tiny tadpoles brush across my foot just slightly.

I feel the moss between my toes and in a distance, I see a big, gorgeous willow tree.

It towers over me, as tall as a giraffe.

I see the birds flying over me, as beautiful as a rainbow.

I lift my hand up, just touching it, it feels likes soft, warm cotton.

I want to wrap myself all around it. I look again at the sky

It has beautiful colours, pink, orange and purple

When I walk, I step on a couple rocks, as hard as ever

Its calming at night, but the danger is real.
