A smile that lights up the darkest room
Wide eyes that watch spring flowers bloom,
An innocence to match the brightest day
Making flower crowns in an elaborate way,
I can't forget those days of mine
But sometimes I wish I could go back in time,
It seems when you get older
Beauty isn't truly in the eye of the beholder,
Saying goodbye to the ones you love
The people who were most undeserving of
Precious love that comes and goes
A person that keeps you on your toes,
Dreams that could fill the widest space
Thoughts competing the fastest race,
But the world suddenly seems too small
For that little girl, after all.
