Curtains open, lights flicker,
A new year begins.
Enter Spring,
Her gown of flowers, fancy and flagrant, trailing behind her.
Long golden locks, full of butterflies,
Pirouettes of joy, beauty and youth.
Enter Summer,
with sun kissed skin, and a flamboyant nature,
An oversized boy.
He flashed a smile, better get your sunglasses on.
Enter Autumn,
As soft as a feather,
Summer lingers whilst she sneaks on. A gust of wind pushes her on.
She paints leaves, red, orange, brown.
Enter Winter,
Like a mother sending mature children to sleep
Yet as cold as ice. She pull leaves off trees.
And dances a slow tango that brings the snow.
Enter spring…
