Vast,
A word for the ocean and all that it’s passed,
Secrets kept locked away,
Unseen by us as we stand at bay,
I wonder how deep the ocean goes,
How many wonders it must know,
The rare beauty huddled inside,
Undisturbed with need to hide,
Ripples gracefully gleam in the water,
A dance by the moon the one who taught her,
Down below the creatures swim
Dancing as well, that be their whim,
But when the people come from their song they flee,
Remaining, as thought, just part of the sea
