Dear 2100

I feel the wind against my hair, making the water feel 10 times colder
I can hear the waves gliding past me and can feel them on my shoulder
I see the small fish flying past my face as I duck under the water, trying to look for something cool
I hear a man fishing, shouting because he can't seem to catch a fish and he is shouting at a fool
I can taste the salty taste of the sea in my mouth as the water gets higher with the waves
I smell the dirty smell of dead fish in the water
I can taste the salty taste of the sea in my mouth as the water gets higher with the waves
There is dead fish floating on the water, for our world is falling apart
I feel that there are no good people left in this world
But now I can see what these people mean: that the world will end soon because we aren't clean
Do you really think we can survive?
We’ll litter and litter 'til our worlds gone like that book with a guy named Shaun,
Shaun was in a book which was about how people don't look like they notice the small things in life
People think we can’t make a difference but every little step along the way counts
So pick up your litter, to make our world fitter,
So when you see rubbish please go and take it,
Dear 2100 I don’t think we’ll make it
