Defenceless fins

Below the surface, within the royal blue waters,

An endangered animal lays,

Struggling, fighting to survive,

Avoiding being spotted for days.

Its delicate skin rubs against the crystal clear water,

Rising for a single speck of sunlight,

Majestically leaping above the surface,

Its peaceful mindset gives them a strong purpose!

Its body travels across the coastal oceans,

Exploring everything in its sight,

Its authentic fin glides through, day and night!

This defenseless species is being tortured,

Being held captive in suffocating nets,

Their precious bodies are being taken for granted

With no family or loved ones, just them stranded.

But in the end, there are only 1000 left,

1000 more snubfin dolphins to survive,

If everyone works together we can help keep them alive,

After all, we all live in the same world, right?
