I long for a world spun by the rhythm of roaming animals.

I long for a world with radiant countrysides and bustling cities.

I long for a world of kind eyes and hearts of gold.

I long for a world home to thriving trees and raging rivers.

But then, the chainsaws arrive,

The machines appear.

The workers approach,

And soon, the dream is destroyed.

Forcefully, instructions are shouted from the foreman in the distance.

Ominously, the rough chatter of men filled the heavy air.

Angrily, bulldozers growl, hungry for a feast.

Sorrowfully, creatures watch as their homes are devoured.

Food and water help us survive.

Family and friends ensure that we think.

Trees and plants are the air that we breathe,

Creatures and critters drum the beat of our melody.

We must save the planet for future generations.

We must remain in harmony for people around the globe.

We must preserve finite resources to sustain our communities.

You must take a stand, before your future is erased.
