On a crisp summer morning

Trees in the rainforest oscillate like usual

Then a flash of ember passes by

A thrashing fire set ablaze

It spread around like a virus

Trees all around burnt to a crisp

They emit a significantly large smoke

Umber Black

As all left is ash and soot

Others come to observe carefully

As they look at the dead hollows

Burnt twigs, sticks and stumps

And all traces of life gone

Symphony Red and Ash Black

Deforestation
