Deforestation

No one ever told me the trees are dying off,

They say they are home to species that always fly above,

I say we need to save them, save them for good,

The three million species will die amongst the city soot,

Change our ways, save them all,

The truth is not pleasant overall,

The Amazon Rainforest, the largest ever lived,

My prayer is that we save them and do our bit,

When we do own up to our mistake, we will leave the world in a better state,

Trees get cut for homes, destroying more who knows,

Crush crunches crash, the sound of murder,

No one ever told me the trees were dying off.
