Do you hear that?

Do you hear that?

Listening for prayer or 

Is it prey?

It suddenly stops listening to the snakes 

And their haunting hisses.

Suddenly it runs, narrowly escaping the 

the snake that just leapt out of the bushes.

The lizard jumps out of the tree. 

The lizard runs so fast that its feet are like car wheels on its hind feet.

The lizard stops, fans its frill out 

and hisses, mimicking the snake.

And the snake flees and the lizard is safe.
