Don’t cry, careful clouds, it’s not your fault,

The vicious slaughter of those you call friends,

It’s not you that deprives them of their home,

It’s not you that stumps their growth, ceasing their short-lived lives.

You are helping, you are healing,

The beautiful shade you shed on our blind eyes

That they dare call “ghastly”, “gloomy”, “cold”,

“Careless”, “heartless”, “old.”

Don’t go, you’re not to blame,

Don’t hide, you’ve done no wrong,

Don’t cry, it’s not your fault!
