Dreaming

The dark, dark, starry night

I gaze out to see a wonderful sight

I dream of going further than stars

I dream of being free, not behind bars

I dream of living on the clouds 

I dream of hearing unusual sounds

My thoughts are deep 

No problems go steep

When I can't go to sleep

I try counting sheep

One... Two... Three...

I drift off to dreams 

And this is what I see -

Goblins, Unicorns, Rainbows and best of all... Hope

The thing I do after I soak 

The thing I do after tea 

The thing I do that lets my mind go free

I dream of rhymes

I dream of crimes

I dream of dreams
