They took away his horn

They took away her antlers

Leaving unsafe fawn.

They stole our hearts,

Selling our mangled parts.

They took away our patterned skin

Took away his tusks

People always win.

Their minds are solely on cash,

Not thinking about the grave backlash.

Robbing us clean, left with isolation.

Lives, habitats, and food.

The virus of guilt consumes the new generation.

Some elephants are growing without tusks,

The scarlet blood drips from our hands, it’s all us.

They left her bleeding,

They left me to rot,

We are sick of pleading!

Tears will stream down future kids' eyes,

When on earth, only people survive…
