From a distance… I see a tall tree with a surface as rough and grooved as the land in a drought. I hear the leaves whispering in the wind. 

 

Close up… I smell the charred surface of the tree. I feel the bark which is as tough as a turtle's shell. 

 

Above me… I see the branches arching out in every direction like a spider's web. I hear the birds up high above screeching “screech”. 

 

Below me… I feel the rich dirt as fine as sand falling from my hand. I see the twigs that are a spider's legs sprawled out along the ground.
