Feeling Sick

Today I’m feeling blue
I think I caught the flu
I cough and sneeze all day
I wish I could just play
I stay in my bed
with a terrible pain in my head
“Here is your medicine” my mum said to me
But all I wanted was a warm lemon tea
Being sick is not fun
I just can’t wait for it to be done
I close my eyes and get to bed
and cuddle my special toy, Mr. Ted
I finally wake up feeling great
I’m so excited because it is the school fete!
