I stare into the fire

Where my daydream begins

I see my grandpa lighting a fire

In his boiler as he grins

My second home, Korea

I can smell the chicken soup from my grandma

I hear the fire crackling which fills me with nostalgia

The dogs bark when seeing grandpa

The sea sings and howls

The mountain joins the sad whispers of nature

I stare into the clouds

In prayer

My love for Korea flows through my blood

The pretty white flakes

My love for Korea makes me feel nostalgic and loved

Tears roll down my face

I remember those times

My grandma's smile fills me with fiery desire

The doorbell chimes

I click into reality and smile at the fire
