Flamingos

The day was beautiful

It was nice and sunny

The days were long 

The breeze was just right 

I watched the flamingos

As they ate and danced 

They splashed in the water

Looking so peaceful

They stood on one leg

As the flowers were blooming

The trees were swaying

The flamingos were swimming

I watched till noon 

And I said goodbyes

There was a rainbow in the sky

As I walked home
