Flinders Ocean Beach

The waves’ foam is glistening brightly  before it fades calmly.

The seaweed is wavey like hair.

The water shimmers and changes colour,

as the sun changes from orange to maroon.

Mushroom reef is fully covered because it is high tide,

the fish and other animals scurry around as if they were playing hide and seek. 

The warm sand is like a cake,

the outside is warm and toasty, 

the inside is cool and relaxing. 

The salty air reminds me of the place I love.

The place I love brings me eternal joy that stays with me forever.
